Formed to record a song for Barnsley, JCT37 take their name from the Barnsley M1 motorway junction.

JC and Martin needed a singer for Come on U Reds, JC’s anthem for Barnsley FC, and chose Ronnie Steele , a former Barnsley FC apprentice, for the project.

As a result of the success of the song – with lots of radio play on Dearne FM, a BBC Radio Sheffield interview and then featured on BBC Look North and Sky Sports News –  the duo JCT37  (JC and Martin) have been busy.

Available for gigs, functions, private parties etc, JCT 37 will play a selection of songs largely from the 60s and 70s, but also covering more recent classics.

JCT37 have backed local radio presenter Matt Bailey - Matt's band is The Salient Braves - click on the picture to get more details.
